Brief autobiography
I am a graduate of the Registered Massage Therapy program at the Kelowna campus of Vancouver Career College. I grew up in England but prior to going to college spent 6 years travelling between Big White Ski Resort and the South Island of New Zealand teaching skiing and snowboarding. During this time I achieved many of my goals but not without my own share of injuries. Experiencing these set backs and undergoing various rehabilitation periods, I realized the full potential and benefits of massage therapy and knew it was the right career path for me.
In my massage therapy practice I strive to help my patients overcome their physical set backs including injury rehabilitation, posture realignment and easing the symptoms of stress. A full assessment and personally tailored treatment plan will always be implemented; educating and empowering patients to achieve their goals of health and wellbeing.
Following 8 years of massage therapy practice, I have recently started instructing at the local registered massage therapy college in Kelowna, BC. This has led me to the instructor program at VCC to gain knowledge and experience within the instructing field, ensuring I can successfully share my passion for massage therapy and the health and wellness industry.
